Surprise, surprise GSP beats Jake Shields via decision. I predicted this on my UFC 129 Fight Predictions but really their should not have been much doubt as to this happening. Jose Aldo beats Mark Hominick via a decision in a very entertaining back and forth fight. My favourite fight of the night Machida vs Couture, Machida knocked out Couture with a flying front crane kick, that’s right! I did predict Machida winning via a TKO in round 2 while his win wasn’t a TKO but a KO in round 2, close enough. My prediction was way off on this one though, Vladimir Matyushenko won the fight via a KO, knocking Jason Brilz out in 1.05 of the first round. Ben Henderson beats Mark Bocek via a decision, Henderson looked amazing with superior striking while Bocek’s highly decorated ground game never seemed to be a real threat to Henderson. Overall a very enjoyable fight card, even though the main event was slightly disappointing but the rest of the fight card more then made up for it, including the preliminary fights
